High Country United Church

Our Seniors Ministry is open to everyone in Dufferin County.  Check our website or follow us on Facebook for updated information.  Here are some of the programs currently running (and we hope to add more soon):

Coffee & Crafts - Tuesdays at 10AM *free
(Bring your sewing, knitting, writing and socialize with others. Socializing without crafts is also encouraged)

Arthritis Foundations Exercise Program - Tuesdays at 11AM (temporarily video-led) *free

Fairweather Walkers - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Noon *free

Strumming Seniors - Tuesdays at 1PM *free (beginner ukulele group - informal and fun. No previous music experience needed.)

Grief Support - Usually the first Wednesday of the month at 2PM *free - led by Diane Lawson of Good Grief

Cancer Support - Starting April 27, 2023 at 2PM *free - for patients, survivors, caregivers, family and friends

Faith Builders - Wednesdays at 2PM *free - informal discussion group focusing on life and challenging faith questions

Seniors Lunch Speaker Series - Usually the last Monday of each month beginning at 11AM *free. A speaker will make a presentation and a free catered lunch is provided. Registration required (lunch is limited to 50 people, but the presentations are open to all)
